You will be happy to know that all veggies were organic and the tomatoes were grown in the USA. It is possible to be green sometimes:) Hope there's more random tapas parties in the future!
P.S.-So after posting this blog the first time, I received a very convicting forwarded email from a friend. It basically talked about Bush's high disapproval rating and the many "unhappy" US citizens. "What does this have to do with tapas parties?" you might ask. The letter went on to outline the many blessings we enjoy in the USA. For example, being able to go to the store and buy exactly what we want. How many people in other countries would give anything just to have a 7-11 in thier neighborhood let alone a Von's, Albertson's, Walgreen's and Trader Joe's just down the street. Or the people who are thirsty but have no clean water to drink, while we get bottled water because the tap water is "gross" or has a "weird taste". When we really take time to think outside of our pampered world, we can truly be grateful for God's amazing grace and blessings in our lives. Unfortunately, we don't do that enough. Jesus nailed it when he let his disciples know that, "It is easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle, then it is for a rich to enter heaven." You see, the rich man doesn't need heaven because he's created his own paradise here on earth. Oh Lord, don't give me so much that I forget to come to you for my needs!
